"One fabulous location, two great accommodation options"

“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!” -  Robin Williams.

Spring is a perfect time of year for outdoor adventures in the Gloucester and Barrington Tops region.

The Barrington Tops is one of NSW's oldest and best-loved national parks. Born from an ancient volcano, the World Heritage Listed Wilderness Area reaches up to the swirling mist of Barrington Plateau which rises to a high point of 1,586m of rugged landscape.  Mountain streams plunge into the magnificent rainforests of the steep-sided valleys as waterfalls and wild rivers.  Sub-alpine meadows with scattered fragile wild flowers are spread beneath the open snow gum woodland.

Bring your walking boots and spend a day or two exploring this natural wonderland.

Or maybe jump into a kayak and paddle the clear running waters of the Barrington River.

Perhaps you’d prefer to saddle up a horse and hit the trails exploring the rolling hills and pristine valleys of this beautiful region.

When you book to stay at The Ridge we can help organise a fun-filled adventure for you and your family including: bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking, abseiling or horse riding.

When your day of adventure is done, return to The Ridge and enjoy all the comforts this outstanding property offers. Relax, soaking up the gorgeous rural landscape, and raise a glass with family and friends telling the day’s stories as the sun sets over the Barrington River Valley.

Mid-Week Getaways

The Ridge is usually heavily booked on weekends.   But if your kids are not at school yet, or are empty nesters, a mid-week getaway would be a great opportunity to enjoy our beautiful region.  There are still a number of available mid-week dates at The Ridge in September and October for you to make the most of this season of renewal.

Guest Review – A & J (July 2019)

“We recently spent three nights staying in the Eco-cabin at the Ridge. What a delight it was to wake up every morning to the spectacular views of the spacious countryside. The cabin is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay including an incredibly comfortable bed which was like sleeping on a cloud ☁.  Wayne & Jane were attentive and thoughtful in making sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for a marvellous and memorable weekend.”
